WONDER

We use the word all the time and wonderful happens to be one of my favorite adjectives. I believe we can consciously use wonder to attract something beautiful, unexpected, unfamiliar, or inexplicable. Let's explore the concept of wonder as an energetic power tool.

THE DEFINITION OF WONDER:

As a Noun - A feeling of surprise mingled with admiration, caused by something beautiful, unexpected, unfamiliar, or inexplicable.
As a Verb - Desire or be curious to know something.
Synonyms - noun. marvel - miracle - prodigy - astonishment - amazement verb. Marvel

Isn't that fantastic? To me child-likeness is another synonym for wonder. To be child-like is to have that open, excited, anticipating energy of a child; expecting a new experience and being curious about what the day has in store. It is the direct opposite of being in the same old grind; the expectation that today will be just like yesterday, which actually makes today just like yesterday (because you expect it to be).

To be child-like is to let go of limitations; the forms that we construct into which things must fit. To be child-like is to honestly expect miracles because nothing is impossible to you. That is the truth, you know, nothing is impossible to you if you believe.

The words "I wonder" open the door to intuition. I wonder where to go, what to wear, what to eat allows an answer to come. They really open the channel for communication from spirit. The key then, is to follow it and keep wondering.

Little children are still connected to their limitless nature. They remember the paradise they were in before they were born. Joseph Murphy says;

"Deep within us is something a course in miracles  reminds us of our origin and urges us back to it. Our mission and purpose in this life is to cherish, enlarge and glorify this memory, to follow sincerely that inner impulse until the spark grows by cultivation into a light which fills us, and we identify ourselves with it."

The fourth dimensional plane, the Super Conscious or God mind has been called the World of the Wondrous because it is the realm of perfection. In the bible it is called the Kingdom of Heaven. The kingdom of heaven is within us and we are told that in order to enter it we must become as little children, we must be child-like, in a state of joy and wonder. And doesn't that make perfect sense? In order to expect a miracle you have to put away the reasoning - grown up mind. Miracles and reason are mutually exclusive. We have to maintain our childlikeness in the face of life in the material world. No matter what is happening outside of us, the world of the wondrous is at the center of our being. If we are in wonder we are in the state of attracting miracles because we are excluding nothing, we are just waiting to see what good thing God has in store for us.

Here is a great affirmation to use first thing when you wake up:

"I look with wonder at that which is before me".
"Today is a day of fulfillment; I give thanks for this perfect day, miracle shall follow miracle and wonders shall never cease."

It is advantageous to get your self set for miracles first thing in the morning. When you first wake up your subconscious is in a soft receptive state so practice using the affirmation and notice how the day goes and how you feel.

Young children are fresh from the source and as they grow they take on the limiting beliefs of those around them. They believe less in wonder and more in the materiality of the third dimensional plane.

But, Florence Scovel Shinn says;

"We are all now, back in the world of the wondrous, where anything can happen over-night, for when miracles do come, they come quickly!
So let us become Miracle Conscious; prepare for miracles, expect miracles, and we are then inviting them into our lives.
