Summer has hit Toronto, and we know what that means! It means that it's time to start planning for the epic Toronto Caribana carnival that's due to take place in the city from July till the first week of August. Plan your Caribana trip from 3rd to 5th August 2023.

So if you're planning to attend the biggest cultural carnival in North America, here's a Caribana planning guide:

Things to See in Toronto Caribana 2023

One thing's for sure: getting around isn't a problem. Most events occur downtown, and public transportation is very effective in Toronto. With that said, here are the must-see events for you during Toronto Caribana:

●    Mas Events

Mas Events are Caribbean celebrations of costumes and music. You can also register your own band if you're interested in mas music. Even if not, you can stroll around the Grand Parade with a Caribana costume.

●    Fetes

You can attend many public fetes, which are complete with Caribbean cuisines, snacks, music, and Hip-hop and R&B bangers. These fetes are basically parties hosted by clubs and restaurants throughout the city. Popular ones include Daylit party, which is a pool party, and Sunday Blocko.

●    J'ouvert

J'ouvert is a fete that is like a mini-parade where everything from paint, powder, and even mud is used for celebrations.

●    Grand Parade

The Grand Parade is the main spectacle of the carnival, where millions will line up to march from Exhibition Place to Lakeside Boulevard. The parade will be filled with colorful costumes, mas bands, Caribbean food trucks, and music mania.

●    Barcode Saturday

Attend the hottest Caribana party at Barcode Saturdays. Our Caribbean-themed party will include party favors, premium drinks, bottle services, Hip-hop and Top 40 tracks, and much more.

Join Toronto's number one celebrity party ritual and elevate your Caribana celebrations.
