What is FISD?

FISD stands for Frisco Independent School District, a public school district based in Frisco, Texas. It is the ninth-largest school district in Texas and is known for its high-quality schools. It currently has 11 high schools, 17 middle schools, 42 elementary schools and three special programs centres with more than 65000 students studying under it. 

What is FISD Canvas? 

FISD has a learning management system (LMS) known as FISD Canvas Portal. canvas fisd allows students and teachers to deliver instructions and resources online by providing a wide range of learning tools and features. It makes the whole process of teaching and learning more interactive and convenient.

How to log in to Canvas FISD? 

  • Open the official link of the fisd canvas portal for your school and click the student link.
  • Tap on the Canvas Home link and it will take you to the Canvas login page. 
  • Type in your username and password 
  • Press “Login” to access your account
  • You can also visit the direct link to the FISD portal here

How to reset the password on Canvas FISD? 

  • Visit the FISD  login page
  • Tap on “Forgot Password”
  • Enter your username and then tap on “Request Password” 
  • You must have received a link in the registered email to reset your password
  • Set a new password by clicking on the link you received in your email 

How to register on Canvas? 

Usually, the registration process is managed by your administrator of the student portal fisd. However, in case you don't get your account then you can create it by joining code emailed to you by your instructor. Follow this step-by-step guide to create your account: 

  • Visit  http://canvas.instructure.com/
  • Click on “Need a Canvas Account” 
  • Tap on “Student”
  • In the student registration form, enter your login credentials such as join code, name, unique username, password and email
  • Tap on “Start Learning”
