Applications

Human AB serum is an ideal supplement for human derived cell lines compared with other animal sera such as fetal bovine serum (FBS). It is the serum of choice when working with immune cells like lymphocytes and macrophages. In addition, the use of human serum may be necessary in order to meet regulatory requirements on the use of animal derived material.
